Lots of Blue

I seem to wear far too much blue nail polish, well I do own about 30 of them... I used a few of them for this mani, and I'm unsure about what one or two of them are, so I'm going to put what I think I used. I've got to start being more organized I think.
The base colour if Sally Hansen Sky's the Limit. I also used Barry M Cobalt Blue, Aqua Glitter, China Glaze Manhunt, A England Tristam, and I think the darkest blue was Sally Hansen Navy Baby but I can't be sure. I topped it all with China Glaze Fast Forward.

I need to buy more makeup sponges as the ones I have left are not so good for gradients, and I keep wanting to do them, but as you can see here the sponge I used isn't the best for a smooth gradient.

Dino flying a Kite

Ages ago, I did a cute mani of a dinosaur in a meadow, I went along the same lines as that with these, I however decided to have her flying a kite this time. The little flowers are much bigger this time, I don't know why I did them so big, I should have using a brush and not a dotting tool.
I did a base colour of Barielle Swizzle Stixs. I stamped using Moyou Black and Moyou plate 66. Essence Upper Green Side, Barry M Block Orange, Berry I/C, Raspberry, W7 White and NYC Lexington Yellow were used for the details. I topped it all off with China Glaze Fast Forward.

I don't know why the dino smudged as she was one of the first things I did for these nails, and the top coat has never smudged the design that much before.

Always a favourite colour combo

Orange and blue, that's right more orange and blue for you all.  I had to leave the Emily De Molly bottle upside down for about half an hour before using it, so that I could try to get more glitter out of the bottle than I did last time.
On the ring and thumb is Emily De Molly The Fifth Element. The gradient was done with Barry M Block Orange and I think the blue was Sally Hansen Sky's The Limit (but I can't be sure of that sorry). I topped it off with China Glaze Fast Forward.

Yup, I think I will always love this colour combo. I'm so glad I had The Fifth Element upside down as the amount of glitter that came out this time of using it was brilliant.

China Glaze Everywhere...

Another "inspired by" mani today, this one is inspired by Nailside. Mines no where near as good as hers, plus I got impatient and free handed the very top colour.
I used China Glaze Stone Cold, Harvest Moon, and Exotic Encounters. I topped it all off with China Glaze Fast Forward.

I wish I hadn't changed the order of the two top colours on my ring finger though, it just makes the whole mani look odd, and I'm not in love with this colour scheme either. I must try this again with better colours I think.

Sort of Trees, Redone.

I did these nail ages ago, they were based on a picture I found on shutterstock. I think I did too many tree type things thought and this version looks a bit too cluttered. I think I should have just done two per nail.
I did a base colour of China Glaze Kalahari Kiss. The trees were done using Barry M Bright Purple, Cyan Blue, China Glaze Exotic Encounters, Adventure Red-y and W7 Black. I topped everything off with China Glaze Fast Forward.

I still really like the look of these and they were just so quick to do. Although if I decide to do them again I will have to try to remember to only do two per nail.

Forgotten Polishes

I was going through my stash the other day and I remembered I had OPI What Wizardry is This? I can't believe I forgot I had a textured polish, anyway I immediately went on a quest to find a colour that would do with it, and then also found another polish or two I forgot I had.
I did base colours of Opi What Wizardry is This? and Marks and Spencer Dark Kingfisher. I stamped using Nails Inc Old Park Lane and Bundle Monster BM-312. I topped the stamped nails off with China Glaze Fast Forward.

I completely forgot that I had a bronze stamping polish, how could I forget that! Also Dark Kingfisher could be a one coater if I had applied it carefully enough, so I need to try it as a stamping polish soon I think. I can't believe I did a mani I love with three polishes I completely forgot I had...

Simple Studs

Just a super quick post today, mostly because these nails are simple and I don't really know what to say about them. I only added a few studs to two nails for these as I just didn't want to cover up the base colour.

The base colour is W7 Metallic Jupiter. I added blue and pink studs to create accent nails. I topped everything off with China Glaze Fast Forward.

The best nail colour in the world...

A post with a base of one of my favourite colours in the world, China Glaze Exotic Ecounters, I even have a backup bottle of this baby. I just such an amazing colour, I have't used it as a base colour for ages so I just had to get it out.
Base colour is Exotic Encounters, The stamping is Barry M Silver Foil with Bundle Monster plate BM-315. The silver studs are ones I already had, but the black ones were from the wheel I got from ebay. I topped it all off with China Glaze Fast Forward.

I feel like I haven't used my Barry M foils for stamping for ages, which is weird because when I first started stamping, they were really all I used.

Navy Baby

I dug out a polish I haven't worn in ages, Even after all the bright colours I've been using lately dark colours still call to me, I just love this almost black navy.
The base colour is Sally Hansen Navy Baby. I stamped using Accessorize Aquamarine and Bundle Monster plate 314. I added two bright blue studs the ring finger. I topped everything off with China Glaze Fast Forward.

The shimmer on Navy Baby is just amazing, it's what makes it sort of glow. I also love that it never looks quite black, it does look dark but it's still blue.

Daisy Chain

This design was originally going to be something different, I want to do half moon daisy chains but I was worried that I wouldn't be able to do the flowers small enough. I eventually decided to do the daisy chains going down my nails.
I did a base of Barielle Swizzle Stixs. The daisy's were done using W7 White, NYC Lexington Yellow and Essence Upper Green Side. I topped it all with China Glaze Fast Forward.

The daisy's aren't the best, I definitely would not have been have to do tiny half moon chains, so I'm glad I went with this design rather than the half moons.
